Pffft.... High Idle :(
Well, after replacing my TPS, the car is so fun to drive again
![]() But... Sometimes it tries to idle between 1100 and 1500 rpm... Usually drops to about 1500, holds for a sec around there, then will drop to about 1100. If I leave it to idle at 1100, it will sometimes drop, after about 15 seconds to around 1000. It only does this in a strange pattern, after driving around for a while it will start doing it, and do it for a while, don't know if its a warm-related issue, but it very well could be. Any ideas?

This may be due to a vacuum leak somewhere. Check your vacuum lines for cracks.

Excuse my ignorance, but what is a TPS?

I'll go check the lines, I did replace the intake boot though...
TPS - throttle position sensor, or I guess I've heard throttle switch more around the p-cars....

I would check the boot for leaks also and any other rubber part that can crack
