Spark Plug Indexing
 

Does anyone know whether spark plug indexing is important on 944turbos?

It is a good idea, like the 8 valve cars the plug comes into the combustion chamber at an angle. You ideally want the open side of the plug to be facing down into the combustion chamber.

On 16 Valve cars it is not neccessary
