In all honesty, aside from the mistique of actually owning a 959 (production run of something like 208 total), if you are looking for performance, the 993TT is a much better car. (and you could buy 5 of them for the cost of a 959)

Then again, if I had 260K laying around not doing anything, I would buy it too.

Uh... are we sure this is a real 959?

2 models, comfort and sport.
only 5 or 6 sport models were ordered...
The comfort means it has a/c, radio, and some other random stuff... The sport was trying to save weight.

i'd buy it for the mistique. and when it broke i would park it in my yard as lawn decoration.

anyone else find it odd that the block on the 959 was air cooled and the heads were water-cooled? anyone know why? maybe something to do with interchangable parts.
