924 hazard and indicator issues
My indicators don't work, nothing happens when flicking the switch. If i turn them on with everything off, the parking lights come on on the corresponding side, as they should. I've cleaned up the stalk assembly itself, the fuse holders (replacing all fuses for good measure) and the grounding points under the dash.
My hazards do work, however they seem to have developed an intermittent arrythmia: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=J1qGk7IsCb4 Could this be indicative of the flasher relay starting to go bad? The thing is, after cleaning the stalk switch and the fuse box, the indicators worked fine. The problem appeared after cleaning the grounding points and fixing a broken connector on one of the cables. |
It sounds like you have your own answer. It worked fine until you fixed the grounds. Something changed when you fixed the grounds. I would retrace your work and look for a possible broken wire or ground issue.

Turns out it was the stalk itself. I've picked it apart, will try fixing it before buying a new one.
