Porsche Crest Los Angeles 944 shop recommendations please

I have asked before but maybe someone has fresh input.

Here are some shops in my area where I am considering taking my car for maintenance. If anyone has a comment on these or wants to add to the list it would be greatly appreciated. TIA

My first choice:
Circle auto, Long Beach - Porsche dealer - have known 944 mechanic - expensive.

Second:
Callas Rennsport, Torrance - Famous local Porsche shop - mechanic claims to know 944's - probably still expensive.

Third:
Dutch Treat, Lawndale - Funny name, someone recommended - worth checking out.

Forth:
John Dayton Enterprises, Long Beach - another recommendation - not sure if they sell just parts - worth checking out.

Thanks again

Thumbs up

I'll add

After trying several shops from OC to Venice Beach,
My first and only choice is

Tony's Auto
Richard Buechler - Owner
9720 Atlantic Ave
South Gate, CA 90280
323-564-3361

Same location over 40 years. 710 Fwy and Firestone. Family owned, 2 generations of Porsche Product knowledge. All models (they also speak turbo).

Performed full rebuilds on my 923 and 944. Very Satisfied with workmanship and prices. Good Honest Folks. Primarily referral business.

Bob

When was the last time you changed your timing and balance belts and/or cam chain and tensioner?

Well I can't find an engineering job might as well wrench on the cars I love! Trouble is I tend to give more away than I take in.

Has to be something I can do in a few hours as the wife wants the parking space when she comes home!

She did put up with my use of it for several weeks when I replaced the engine last year.

Alex, why doesn't your name show up in the top left????

Since Hugh ( So Cal ) has tutored a vast majority of us here in Calif, I would highly recommend utilizing his services as a qualified mechanic. He does know these cars>
