Wow, that's not the response I was expecting. No offense bro...but the point is...someone died, at the hands of a Porsche driver...not how fast the cars are.

Hopefully this accident gets a lot of attention so this guy will get caught. A white Boxster with a smashed front end shouldn't be too hard to find. Police should put out a reward and tell bodyshops in the area.

oh, I see. The BMW was white, and yes a smashed yellow Boxster should be really easy to find.

What a tragedy. When I used to drive limo's, there was a story in NY about a limo carrying a group of kids on their prom night that got broadsided by a guy that was drag racing. Some Ralph Nader wannabe wanted the WHOLE limosine industry shut down. His reasoning was that they were unsafe, and get this, not fair to the less fortunate who couldn't afford to rent one!
We need to keep an eye on this. There are already people in D.C. who want to abolish sports cars for some of the same reasons, along with the idea that they are "gas guzzlers".

They want to abolish my 25 mpg 4 cyl sports car? Are you sure, because that doesn't sound right. SUVs waste more gas than most sports cars. I've heard of a growing backlash against them, but I've never heard anyone want to ban spors cars.

That will never ever happen, and I'll tell you why. 50% of the Congress and Senators have sports cars and the other 50% have SUV's. So the chances of any car being outlawed is virtually impossible. Thats just what I think.

I heard on the news a few days ago, that the police caught the Boxster driver. I didn't hear any details though.
