Yet Another Oxygen Sensor Question

I was looking at my oxygen sensor tonight and I was thinking that it looks like it might be a dog to get out. For those of you that have removed yours before, what can I do to make it come out any easier? I was thinking of maybe heating the pipe slightly with a blow torch.

Let the exaust cool down, spray some wd-40, and have the right size wrench, and it'll come off, my 16 year old (136k miles) came off with no problem, I presume yours can't really be any worse... Disconnect the sensor BEFORE all the bolts/hangers are off the manifold, also if your downpipe is anything like mine, you want to screw it in AFTER the hangers are on, but BEFORE you bolt up the front of the manifold.
Good luck,
Ahmet

Applying heat to metal only causes it to expand, and therefore it will be MORE difficult for you to remove anything.

I was just going by what the Haynes manuel said about it. I would think that it would cause the pipe around the sensor to expand making it a little easier to remove.

Thanks 1.2Gees. I'll let you know how everything comes out later this week.
