1980 924 Brake Booster Servo options

VW part number 270 79 3 FR

Audi part number 477 611 907 D

ATE 3.6852-4701.4

My master cylinder blew and leaked some fluid into the servo. It's probably fine but there's no way to get all the residual fluid out of it. Ironically I trashed one with a parts car a few weeks earlier.

I found some places that will rebuild for $250ish

Are there any bolt on upgrades, like a 928 servo?

Car is a naturally aspirated Audi 2.0L model.

This ebay listing suggests that an ATE 300083 is compatible but I am not so sure

Thanks!

This ebay listing claims that a 300083 will fit a 1980 924 but other websites don't suggest the same

I noticed the other day that a 70s VW Bus booster looks suspiciously similar to a 944 booster minus the check valve...not surprising since the 944 also uses a master cylinder nearly identical to the bus as well.

Apparently 924S/944 model boosters are not bolt compatible with the early 924. Kicking myself for pitching a booster with a 79 that I parted out
