89 944 Brake lights

my brake lights were staying on all the time. I am trying to trace my wiring and verify my relays. I got this car last year and the previous owner(s) have done some serious hacking on the wiring. I also think they may have moved the relays around. Can anyone point me to a document that lists each relay and its location- the fuse box cover does not differentiate between relay types. I have a schematic that I downloaded. My question with it is that it has prints for an 88 as well as an 89 and they vary slightly. My title says the car is an 89, but the build date is 8/88.
