Zoom Idea
So here's an idea that crossed my mind the other day... What interest would there be if technical Zoom meetings were created among the PP membership? There could be a signup sheet process for those interested in watching/participating in a maintenance service or repair. The host would set the day/time and provide a tutorial with live audience participation.
I know that the free Zoom account only allows a certain number of participants but perhaps a bunch of us could pitch in and purchase accounts for larger group meetings. Wouldn't it be great for several of us conduct the same maintenance procedure or repair in real time, and have the support of more knowledgeable members by offering tips or correcting potential mistakes as the group progresses through each step together? It would be like attending an automotive class with students (peers) from around the country or world. I realize this may require some planning but it could work to benefit everyone, particularly some of our newer members. I'm curious to see if there's any interest.

I think that’s an excellent idea. I’m pretty novice with these cars but could show things I’ve messed up as cautionary tales. I’m willing to contribute to funding for a group account .

Great idea. It can be done low-cost/free. You could just schedule and set up a meeting for a weekend (probably best to do Sat/Sun morning US time, or something, idk) and see who shows up?

Sounds like a plan... Let me think of something to show and maybe I'll set something up for this Saturday since it's supposed to rain.

I think there's been a lot of discussion regarding our cooling fans and when they're supposed to turn on and such. This is a nice easy topic to try as a pilot. I'll have my car and test bench ready tomorrow at 10:00am EST.

Hey thanks! I think this may be a good way to meet people outside the local area and talk about things. Does anyone have an idea for a future meeting?

How about another one during a more amiable time? Anyone is welcome to host a meeting.
