944 replace emergency switch in dash
 

The emergency switch and the AC swiches have been pushed back behind the dash. It looks like removing the dash to get behind the dash to push the switches back in place. Possibly may need to purchase new switches if tabs holding switches in place have been damaged. Is there a video or directions on how to replace the switches/removing dash?

Dominic. You won't have to remove the whole dash to access these switches. Go to this link Late Model 944 Dash Replacement and scroll down to the point where they remove the face plate for the climate control. You will then remove the emergency switch trim plate to access the switches. I just did this on my 86. Most likely the switch mounts are broken. They are very delicate and being 30+ years old are prone to breaking.
