Just got pulled over!

Ok, so I took a bunch of people to Dairy Queen, well it was only 4 of us, but I can't fit anymore. We're coming back and I see a cop pull out behind me, I wasn't worried because I wasn't speeding. Well, a girl in the backseat was leaning out the sunroof and I didn't notice, so we get pulled over, cop thinks we're drunk but we obviously aren't. I really think he just wanted to pull over some kids in a Porsche, but he did let us go without a ticket, so I'm happy.

I wish I could say the same about getting away without a ticket. It was the first night that I got my car back from the shop. I was on my way home and I just happen to leave my radar detecter unplugged, cause I wasn't planning on doing any major speeding. But anyways I got caught doing 56 in a residential 35. And get this, it was the same cop that pulled me over for doing a burnout in my mom's '01 T/A WS6. He reminded me of the big break he gave me when he caught me doing that, but he only gave me a careless intentive, $105.

This offence would mean at least $500 and maybe 14 days in prison in Norway. You shouldn't complain

P.V Sheriff?
They are a particularly vigilante branch of the law enforcement in our neck of the woods. P.V. was a nice remote area when I was a kid and we did crazy driving around them there parts. We got caught a few times being bad boys actually got cut loose probably because we were not drunk/stoned and at least we chose an unpopulated area late at night to drive like idiots,
but then sometimes we were not so lucky.

Yeah, it really would have sucked to get a ticket, I can't afford the insurance increase and I wasn't speeding. But since I didn't get one, it's all good.

If you didn't get a ticket, what did you pay 105 bucks for?

I was the lucky b*st*rd that had to pay $105 bucks for the 56 in a 35. I'll also have to make a mental note never to drive in Norway. Prison time for speeding? Seems kinda harsh. When I was going to school in Savannah GA, on my way back home I always drove no less than 85. I even set my cruise at 98 (stupid speed limiter). '95 GMC. I remember one occasion of 98 in a 35 single lane work zone. It was 3 am and I was ready to get home. Didn't feel like slowing down.

That's not funny porsche85.

At all.

Thats dangerous. I would be ashamed to tell people that.

85944NA's story is funny and I am glad he shared it, if you are obeying the law, police stories are good. (and hey, I do understand that most porsches seem to go 'a little' over the limit )

Yeah, seriously, porsche85, thats reckless driving. You shouldn't brag about that.

Chirping tires, on the other hand, should not be a crime. Its only a crime to the tranny and tires.

The officer pulled me over in front of my house too, he waited until i parked before he lit up his lights. Then he tried to sweat me cuz my pops was outside doing yard work. I knew he wasn't going to give me a ticket, but tense none the less.

It depends on the chirp. =) Did you do it right in front of him? what was traffic like? What was he in the neighborhood for?

I have been pulled over twice. Once for having a cracked tail-light lens (from a klutz in a parking garage) And once for having the little light on the liscense plate out. hehe like I am ever going to notice that without it being pointed out!

The first time the officers seemed to be looking for someone, and my car must have been 'on the list.' The other time I had been crusing though Kirkland's waterfront's nightlife on a Friday night looking far a parking spot. Both times the patrol car's lights went on while I was stopped. Neither time was I ticketed. They were like, "do you know why I pulled you over?" and I am like " ? ! ? "
