Klr

Have 1985.2 944 NA naturally aspirated that had lot of stuff disconnected when was gifted to me. Have DME that needs to be tested (don’t know status) and another box that I thought was DME. Now think it is KLR. Does a naturally aspirated 944 use a KLR and I’d so, where does it live? This box has no cover, so don’t know part number. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

No, only 944 turbo cars use a KLR.

In the turbos, the KLR is mounted in the passenger foot well along side the DME ECU.
