Sorry I'm totally retarded but I'm installing my alternator and belt right now and it looks like I can't get the belt on without taking off another belt (I had cut off the old one so didn't deal with it then). I have no clue but it might be my power steering belt??
What's the best way to get it off (and then back on once I get the alternator belt put on)? thanks Bonnie

Bonnie, What does the belt in your way look like? Sounds like the AC belt, too far to the left to be the PS belt?! Is the belt in front a wide serpentine belt or V belt? Do you need to know the removal info for the AC belt?

You're looking at the power steering belt. The PS pump has the same tensioner as the A/C compressor, remove the 13MM bolt and nut from the PS pump where the tensioner attaches and slip that belt off.

back off the turnbuckle for the powersteering pump and take off the belt. put your alt. belt on and tension with a/c turnbuckle. put p/s belt back on and tighten with turnbuckle. I think the A/C is 17mm and the p/s is 13mm.
