Power Windows

My power windows seem excessivley slow when going up. They never stop, they just take forever to go up! Is it time to replace the respective motors, or are all 944 windows a bit on the slow side? The car's an '83.

You might try lubricating the mech. part of the windo first. If they are dry it can cause binding and slow response.

I don't know about Porsche, but Honda makes a special lubricant for sunroof and power window motors. My friends power windows took forever to open but he put the lube on it and they went up and down like they were new.
