Shim? URGENT!

I need to know if I can run my car with the shim in that i got with my power chips....with the stock chips??? I really need to know fast. THANKS!

U CAN..BUT IT DOESN'T MAKE ANY SENSE IF U DO NOT RAISE THE BOOST(THAT SHIM IS FOR BOOST)..WHAT THE CHIP/S DOES IS IT CHANGE THE MAPPINGS OF UR COMPUTER AND THIS HAPPENS WHEN THE BOOST IS ALTERED..

The reason I wanted to know ... was because after the shim is in the car will not start. And I want to swap the old chips in and see if that is the problem. It turns over but will not start. So as long as it is safe I guess. Thanks again...any more helpful input would be great

Well...I replaced my old chips and it started. Won't start with the power chips...installed correctly. So hmmm guess I'm back to stock with a nice shim eh? Kinda a bummer. STUPID THING. Well anywho thanks for your help.
