83 Porsche 944 non turbo

Got in and pushed the clutch pedal down and it stayed down.
What should I look for first .

Either your cluch master cylinder Or your slave cylinder ,commenly call carpet cylinder...inside the car are gone,lift the carpet up & check for leak under your clutch pedal,the master cylinder if leaking will leave a puddle in the starter area underneath the car or around the starter....master cylinder
...Carpet cynlinder.
.Good luck fixing your problem ...a very annoying one which all of use been through. FWI both are connected to you brake fluid system.
