Early Belly Pan protective shield

This aluminum piece was missing on my car, so I found a nice one on ebay and it was an easy fun installation. Thanks for your help!

Very nice! You may notice that the engine will actually have a more stable temperature while driving. I did...

My car doesn’t have one but I looked at the one pfarah has - thoroughly engineered piece. Nice job Chris.

They are cheap to buy ,check the use parts Forum or E-BAY once in while ,maybe someone will have one for sale,I found out over the years that those pans not only help stable the temp but also keep a lot of road debris out of your engine bay.

Yes, it was not very expensive. There was a beat-up one for sale on ebay for 79 and I passed on that one. The next one that came up for sale looked almost perfect and was 150 shipped.

You need two speednuts to mount the front section. On my car, one was missing but I had a bag of heavy duty M6 speednuts already. I used stainless M6 bolts from the hardware store.
