Help! Electrical

ok. on my 84 944, i have problems with my lights. the headlights work fine. On the right side of the car the running lights didn't work, but the left did. when i came back to the car all running lights including brake lights were out. i replaced any fuse that i had a dought didn't work. the lights still don't work. could this be the relays? the turn signal lights work along with the hazzard but won't work when you want them to stay on all the time. i sure could use a little help with this. thanks, dave
