Smile compleatly Knackered

Hey all

just walked in the door after a 9 hour drive back from Bremin compleatly Knackered but it was bloody good the autobahn's are excellent that is how roads should be no traffic jams no seed limits and the smoothest roads i've driven on I just wish I could have been in the Porsche I would love to find out what that top speed feels like!, but I made do with the new Merc that we picked up from the factory hard life eh!. Has any one else ever looked around a car factory it was amazing never seen so many robots in my life!
Definately recormend to go and pick a car up from the factory rather than the dealer well worth the effort.

Paul

knackered adj. To describe yourself as "knackered" means that you are really tired - something along the lines of "beat". However, as usual it has a slightly more dodgy meaning as it technically describes being exhausted after sex. You can get away with it in everyday conversation but bear in mind that everyone knows the true meaning too. The derivation, I understand, is from the time when old, worn out horses were taken to the "knacker's yard" and... well... converted into glue.

It's one of those British expressions that most of us Yanks don't understand.

Oh man, a girl I was flirting with last summer (not in the USA) told me she was knackered. I had no idea what it meant, I assumed it just meant that she was tired. Dunno which meaning she meant now, lol! Good thing I didn't hook up with her, regardless
