I am so sorry AFJuvat !!!
But with your competence within the branch, there should be no problem finding a new one.

Good luck and keep the moral up!

Oh man, I'm sorry. Hang in there, and until you find another job, remember, you have more time to work on P-cars!

I am sympathetic to your plight. I have to file for an extension with my EDD check, having exhausted my benefits. On a lighter note, I had the spare time to get my car running like it auto. Maybe you can find a full time wrenching job, eh? Every time I've been fired or layed off, the next job I got paid better than the last! G.L.

Sorry Man, I feel your plight.

We just had to eat another 10% salary reduction.

Want to make some money helping with my project?

I agree with Blackfoot, maybe this is the opportunity to get into working on Porsches full time!

Sorry man. My hours were cut back because the airport isn't making enough money. I'm going from 5 days a week to every other weekend. Hopefully in the summer things will get better.

Juvy, you're in Florida correct? Which major city are you nearest? As I recall your an IT engineer correct? I work for possibly the largest IT company in the world (Siemens) we generally have openings everywhere. PM me.

Network Engineer. - Building and running servers and the like, fixing local desktop machines, and of course the inevitable "my internet is broken" calls.

Would love to be able to wrench full time, however, the shop I work at could not support a second full time wrench.

Open my own garage? I'm a little shy of the $200K needed for startup

Scott, check your PM

Hmmmmmm maybe you can come up with some good hourly rates and retards like me can hire you as a door to door mechanic???? Sorry to hear you lsot your job. Now you are in the same boat I have been in this year. I can not find any work at all in my city and I have nothing to drive for me to work anywhere else. Seems like I am going to be jobless for ever. I wish you better luck than I am having. I'd still pay for you to come wrench my car door to door style.
