944 Rear Coilover Search for options = Extended length Not stock

Hello 944 WORLD!

so, since i finally fixed 99% of my front suspension geometry etc on my custom setup, i now can readjust the rears.

My current Bilstein Escort Coilovers Rear are too short..
There max extended length measured from center pin to center pin(bushing) is like 15 5/8"

I need it to be like 19.5"
I found a set of Qa1's that come in both a bushing style or bearing style.
I know theres been a bunch of talk concerning them mounting upside down or poorly and must be used with racers edge lower mounts.

Who can confirm this or give me any info, if someone has an alternative prefferably something like a bilstein shock but longer thatd be awesome !

im running a 28-29" ride height so needs to be longer
front im running stock m030s with turbo cup springs and LR camber plates.

Here is the QA1 codes

ds701 for bearing mount
DS702 for bushing mount

I have lower mounts i can use if need be, currently had the bilsteins but there too short, there maxed out right now and its sitting at like 27"... with probably next to know travel because spring is adjusted tightly,
yes i know ill need longer springs after but i can play with that.
any info or leads would be awesome !

cheers ladies & gents

look at super beetle/baja bug parts -- the 944 rear suspension is derived from those.
