DIY pressure brake bleeder

I have built my own pressure brake bleeder system. Does anyone know of a solid cap that will fit on the 924S/944 brake master cylinder?

I used one for a GM off the "Help" rack, it had a channel in it to bleed air but I filled that with JB weld. This was done when I was JB-welding a fitting into the cap for air.

It was probably this one:

I also made a gasket out of some random piece of junk mail. I used compressed air quick-release fittings, very handy since I run the bleeder just as an air supply and take the cap off a few times to add more brake fluid if I am doing a full brake fluid change. Male on the cap and female on the tank to maintain the air pressure.

I have not bothered to put a pressure gauge on the tank (weed sprayer), it's not hard to tell where you are at pressure-wise and I generally keep the pressure pretty low.

Jfrahm Thank you for the info. I will buy one of these and bleed away. I think this will make it much easier.

Jfrahm, I installed my pressure brake bleeder today. When I opened the pressure valve fluid came out of the cap and went everywhere. I used the cap you recommended. When I inspected the cap it has a channel grooved inside the top of the cap and down the side which looks like an air vent. This is where the fluid is coming out. Did you have this problem and if so, how did you seal that vent channel? Thanks for your help.

As I said above I filled that channel with JB weld when I installed the air fitting, JB welded that in as well.

I also made a gasket out of some junk mail paperboard to help seal the cap to the brake fluid reservoir. I use the bleeder dry.

Sorry you missed this:
