"Custom" Sachs Struts, NOS OEM Shocks

Just a heads up, for those with later, sealed-strut 944’s who may want a slightly “softer” ride than that given by a sports setup…Steve at 944 online is now modifying Sachs strut cores, incorporating a welded on threaded top, and supplied with new Sachs strut inserts installed. I just received a pair of these, and am really impressed! Here they are:

…and I got very lucky indeed when I recently scored a pair of NOS (NLA) 944 OEM Sachs rear shocks! Take a look:

Glad you found those rear shocks, I was feeling guilty after someone here offered me their NOS pair of Boges.

Starting to smell the loam here in the South (of New England) ... deep freeze ALMOST over.
