Replaced clutch master and slave

Its done But how do I tell if the clutch or pedal needs adjusting ? The gears shift ok but is there supposed to be acertain amount of play in the pedal?

you can adjust the amount of free play the pedal has before it engages the clutch hydrolics at the nut where the master cylinder pushrod meets the clutch pedal shaft. its important to have free play though. if there is too little it can keep the clutch from fully engaging.

free play should be about 3mm..........which is lets say almost nothing! and adjust like 'yomama' says ...
