Dr. Ing. h.c.F. Porsche AG ???????

What does Dr. Ing. h.c.F. Porsche AG mean exactly? I've read in one of my books before but I've since forgotten ("Moments" possibly). I don't feel like digging through my "Porsche Library", so can anyone "Throw me a frigg'n bone here"?

Dr. Ing. h.c.F Porsche was the title given to Ferdinand Porsche way way way long ago. AG stands for "AktiensGesellschaft" or "Action Holdings". it is the german term that roughly translates to "Inc."

an AG is a publicly-held company (one that has stock that the common person can buy and trade on the stock market).

let me go a bit more into depth, the "Dr Ing" part of the title is:

Doktor Ingenieur

h.c.F. is another part of the title, i can't remember exactly at this second, but they are those little tidbits added on to someone's title. the english equivalent would be:

"Dr. Ferdinand Porsche, engineer"
