Odd No Start
No start condition yesterday, miraculously fixed itself. Normally, the car always fires immediately and easily.
The odd thing was, with the ignition on, the tach fluttered around the 2k mark, with an unhappy clicking sound coming from under the dash (maybe the DME relay). Ideas?

As with all intermittent problems, it will be easier to diagnose once it becomes a solid problem.
Ignition on, engine not running, tach should be stable at 0 rpm.

Kessel run in 12 parsecs!

Any lights? My charging system is my issue, needles going crazy, lights flickering, etc. Remember these cars do better stock. Any mods can jack with its normal operation. If you have any off brand electric components, or a hyper chip, ya might experience future headaches. I can fire up my car, and the alternator charging gauge needle will peg out, I take a reading at 11.5 on the batt. and it still running. The lights will go out when the alternator is cool, but once it gets hot, my car is the stock turbo, it bucks like a bronco. I had a 87 Fiero gt fast back, that had a racing chip in is central brain, the dude told me it adds horse power. After 3 break downs, I pulled the chip, put the stock back and the dammed thing ran, started and never gave me troubles....
