Received and installed AFM from Porsche dealer. New part has a hex CO adjustment screw for leaner or richer-old oem did not. I thought CO is carbon monoxide. What's up with this? Does this need to be tampered with and if so can I trial and error with it or does it need some sort of sophisticated equipment for a proper setting. I had hoped the O2 sensor would work in conjunction with the AFM. Thanks

the stock setting should be fine.

the CO adjust is used in conjunction with the O2 sensor to set the fuel air mix at a given RPM

The proper way to set idle requres the use of a CO monitor in the exhaust pipe. you adjust idle speed and CO level to fall within a set of parameters. think it is something like .8 CO at idle (800 +-40 RPM)

Es geht nicht darum wie schnell man faehrt, sondern wie gut man schnell fahren kann.
