Where is the Power Window Relay?
 

I need help finding the Power Window Relay. It isn't in the manual or the shop manual. It isn't in the main fuse assembly. Please help, so I don't have to tear apart my car for one stupid relay.

Found this in another thread...

"The power relay for the windows is under the dash by the instruments on the RIGHT side."

I guess it is somewhere around the ignition key area.

where as the other relays are under the dash by the instruments on the LEFT side with the fuses

btw...found the image of the fuse/relay box...of course the window relay isn't there anyway

Hopefully it is there, If not I'll just pull out the dash panels and follow the wire from the fuse.

See that is what I have been saying the whole time. I suspect the relay myself. I am having trouble findind it though. I have found four relays on the right under the dash, but they are not marked. Looks like I am going to have to tear the dash and console apart to follow the wire from the fuse.

the wires going to the 'electric window control relay' are:

to coil:
86-black/yel
85-brown

contacts:
30-red
87-red/blue

take the fuse that keeps blowing and rig a 12v bulb in it's place. when this light goes out the short has been removed

pull one relay out at a time and see what happens
