Question Sugestions for new tires 215/60 R15

Time for new tires, replacing Falkens, not too happy with. Used as daily Summer driver with an occasional spirited run , reasonably priced. I like to stay with 215/60 R15. Suggestions?

Continental Extreme Contact DWS for year round use or Extreme Contact Sport for summer use. Have sets of both on current cars and very happy with them.

Had great luck with Kumho Escsta Platinum's on my earlier 85.5...but am not sure these are still available.

My current '87NA came to me with General Altimax tires - which seemed a bit "plain Jane" to me at first...but I've actually grown to like them. Good response for my type of (semi-spirited) driving, plus they behave very well on wet roads (better than did my Kumho's), tread is holding up really well, and I've had no balance issues with them.

At any rate...I do believe that the Altimax is still available through Tire Rack.

There's a good independent shop near my home that services a variety of older Porsches. I spoke to the service manager about the lack of options in the stock size and he offered to contact his suppliers when I wanted a new set. So, maybe try that route.

Bridgestones. You should be able to find them, I purchased a full set two years ago. Same tires I used on a 510 that had the Lime Rock lap record.

Like said I had Kumho 205-55-16 v rated all around on my ex 83-944 & was very satisfied with them ,although I found you get a higher mileage out of the Falken tires.
