UPDATE Sunroof motor issues UPDATE
1987 944 Base
My sunroof motor powers when the switch is depressed, but arms don't move. It's as if the motor is stuck. Using the manual method I can move the arms. So the mechanism is working. UPDATE the motor is good. But there is host of problems. 1. The up switch retracts the atmsy and down extends the arms. 2. The whole system only works when micro switch 1& 2 are made 3. The arms extend and retract regardless of the key position.(off there is no power) Any thoughts would be appreciated. Last edited by jblobner; 11-08-2020 at 05:18 PM.. Reason: New findings |

Most likely your sunroof/radio relay is bad, or you are not getting power to pin 15 of the relay when the ignition is on.
