Parts I need:

I've searched pelican, tweeks, and various other sources, but cant find the following:

1. Left taillight seal

2. Lower half of power roof gearbox

3. Ball bearings from inside of window switches (All I need is 2 of the tiny bearings from the switch contact-post:I dont want to have to spend $25 on a new switch)

I appreciate everyone's help.

LOL!! I open my switch to clean it cuz it did work good. Those tiny bearings jumps out and lost forever! lol! I think 99.999% you can't just buy those bearings.

I used to have a 924 with a manual sunroof. Now that I have a 944, I have seriously been considering converting it to manual and eliminating another bunch of nasty recurring potential problems. I assume the addition of the manual latches (and removal of the mech/elec parts) would be rather straightforward. Anyone do this?

I've got an early '85 with a converted sunroof. The toughest part is the rear latches. As the mounts on the body don't have a spot to screw the plastic pieces to. Also the panel that covers the rear control arms will have to be altered. I actually picked up the inner sunroof panel and the rear manual latches from a local Porsche salvage shop cheap. In the end it makes a huge difference. I was at a local autoX, and some guys was trying to figure out how to get his motorized version off manually, I just popped the latches, tossed it in back and enjoyed the sun.
