mystery relay
early 85 944.Removed cluster to replace speedo cable. Found a relay behind tach. attched to dash bracing with nothing pluged into it anybody have a clue? I did'ent see anything that would plug into it laying around. Everthing seams to work. It's a bosche relay

Maybe a factory extra. Like Ford does a lot. You'll have a clock connection but the place for a clock is a blank that's to be punched out incase person orders a clock.

TODWIC. I THOUGHT OF THAT TOO. I'VE SEEN EXTRA PLUGS IN THE HARNES ON ALL OF THE BIG 3 OVER THE YEARS BUT NEVER EXTRA RELAYS AND IT'S TO CLEAN OF MOUNTING FOR A P.O. HACK JOB R.HALL MY FLUX CAPAITOR IS BETWEEN MY FT.&MID MUFFLER BERINGS
