" What is the fuel pressure in the rail "

I want to know what pressure in psi have the fuel rail and how I can know if my fuel pressure regulators are on good conditio ?

It says in the haynes manual. I would look and tell you but it will be a couple days before I get mine back, have it loaned. If you have a bad regulator you will know it, bad idle, puffing black smoke at low speeds rich condition, etc.

I think the fuel pressure in the rail should be between 40 & 50 psi, more toward the high side, with the vaccum line off.

From my Porsche 944 manual: the pressure in the fuel rail should be 2.0 bar (29 psi)engine running at idle. Note that the fuel pump pressure should range between 2.3 to 2.7 bar (33 to 39 psi) If you pull off the vacuum line on the pressure regulator the fuel pressure should rise to 2.3 to 2.7 bar or (33/39 psi).
