924 Skid Plate Source?

I am contemplating buying a 924 (1980 with M471 option) for rallying. A skid plate looks like a necessity, but an internet search does not turn up anything. No skid plate would be a deal-killer, I think.

Can anyone suggest a current source?

No one makes a skid plate for a 924/944 commercially.

You'll have to make one on your own.

Done some search for you ...Company call Carid has an ARB Skid Plate for your car ...Number is 3540020 ...price 119.00$ US, sorry but can't get no pic of it . Good luck

You could also try... sure someone over there already has DIY a skid plate for their 924

Found that already. Out of stock, unavailable. No likely restock.

I found 924Board, and shall see if anybody there has a source.

rennline came out with a new skidplate for the 944 recently. not sure if it fits 924 too.

Thanks for the lead! I shall follow it up. I might have to buy a 944 also, and see if the skid pan is transferrable. ;-)
