Fuel pressure relief valve
Been sometime since being on the forum. Haven’t worked on my 87 924S for sometime being it turned into the other woman and my wife became upset. There used to be a post on here of a lower pressure relief valve for the fuel tank to avoid getting the notorious stress cracks in the fuel tank. Anyone have info on that as I’m getting ready to go forward and finish my girl

This is good news, thanks. I tried ordering the valve a few months ago and was not available from a variety of sources. I wound up removing the gasket from my filler cap and this seems to have prevented any big pressure differences in the tank.

If you track your car with no gasket on the filler cap, you may experience outflow from the cap on hard right turns. Ask me how I know.

This valve arrived today from Japan. It will likely be several months before I attempt an installation.
