drain plug size

I tried a 15mm and it is too big and a 14mm is too small waht size is this thing!!!

I just bought the car but I think it is a 15mm that is a little stripped time for vicegrips??

well now it is really stripped and i have no idea how to get this thing off. The person who changed the oil before me must have really laced into this thing I don't know if anything will ever get it off!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Any suggestions??????????
