944 Turbo Brake Pad size

Hi All,

Can somebody tell me the approximent dimensions of the front brake pad for the 87 turbo?? Either height x width or sq. inches.

aprox. a little bit less than 2 x 3 inches

The front and the rear are the same pads if that is your concern. Just did rotors and pads complete on my 87 951, it is was very easy, I expected worse. What's the problem your having? They are about 2" X 3" as previously stated.

Thanks for the replies.
I would have thought the Turbo pads would have been bigger.
2x3 is about the same as a 911.
I am trying to find a 4 piston caliper for a track car.
Wilwood calipers will fit, and they have a 2.5 x 4.5 pad.
