83 944 squats upon acceleration / hesitant acceleration

Hello guys

I drove my 83 last night and noticed it titls backwards when accelerating like a drag race launch ,

i recently added Koni sport shock inserts in the front as the originals were very bad and coil spring are blue coded originals , the rear are factory Koni sport shocks (externally adjustable) , maybe its due to the rear shocks being set to soft or maybe leaking gas?

also accelerating and throttle response feels delayed with slight bucking ( throttle cable? ) , eventually when i hit a ramp at low rpm , the engine stalls and dies. my mechanic also said its a lose wiring harness to the dme

my car has a new fuel pump , fuel filter , air filter , new distributer cap and rotor , new spark plugs , new original engine mounts , the injectors look rusty on the outside and my tires are very old,

appreciate your kind input

Best regards,
Hamad

Your rear shocks need to be adjusted so that they resist the squatting.

I agree that intermittent loss of power can be due to bad wiring.

Good luck.

You could try tightening the setting on the fronts too since that would result in less front end extension.
