I stumbled into owning a set of Fuchs wheels that have dates codes that match my 86 944. I'm pretty excited about dropping some wheels weight from the phone dials, and I honestly like the looks of Fuchs. The date codes matching is a nice plus.

The front wheels are 7" and the rears are 8". They are 15", and I realize there's less options for those, but I'm not too concerned.

I'm thinking a 225/45/15 for the front and 245/40/15 for the rear. Will these look crazy, or is this a good set up?

Mostly summer driving, and maybe a few autocross events, but that's about it.

Those would be lower OD than stock. With 225 and 245 widths, close to proper OD would require 225/55r15 and 245/50r15. Those are some oddball sizes though.
