Turn Signal Combo Switch and left turn signal (87 944S)
 

Hi, everyone.
As usual, Mondays bring us some challenges.
I just noticed on my 87 944S that the left turn signals don't work when turn signal switch (on steering column) is engaged.
If I pull it "half way", it starts to blink, but only the rear turn signal works.
BTW, the right (pass) side is fine.
I wonder if there is a mechanical problem within turn signal combo switch.
Parking lights do work on all 4 corners and side markers, too.
The bulbs are ok, too.
What do you think?

Quite likely that it is inside the (unfixable) multifunction switch.

Start looking for one now... Lots of variations, airbag or no, cruise or no, headlight washers or no.

If you spend some time cleaning contacts and grounds, you just might be surprised at what comes back to life. Just sayin'!

update:
I just moved it 100 times and it started to work properly!
