It's not a bad looking car, but it loses everything "Porsche". It looks too much like a kit for my tastes. Is it a Miata, or is it a Boxter? Neither, it looks like it was made for people who couldn't decide which car they wanted.

Dude, do they bolt stuff ONTO their chasis? Or do they cut and then strengthen the cut chasis of a 928? The latter seems to be what's going on, in the engine comp you can see the lines of the original 928.

Still, with a lot less weight (but not as little as one would like to see) the car could still kick ass... I think it looks a lot like some of the earlier Porsches, and definately much like the original Porsche concept.

A Porsche has certain aspects to it, there is no "typical" look that's proper for a Porsche. Does a Carrera GT look like a Porsche? How bout the 996? I'm sure you don't think the cayenne looks like a Porsche either...

Anyway, maybe a good idea in it's day, but it's a few years too late for the styling to be "fresh", don't get me wrong, it doesn't look dated, but it does look like it was designed a few years ago!

I'd drive one, but not sure about paying for one, unless I got the donor 928 for almost free...

Interesting, and unique no less...

I would rather have a 928 engine in my 944! I wonder if that can realisticly be done? I know if you have enough money anything can be done, but I wonder what it would take?

They made one twin turbo 928 for the CEO of Porsche in the 80's. I can't remember which book I read that in, as soon as I find it I'll post it.

Lamborghini had a Twin Turbo Diablo in production. Might have been special order or something, but I'm pretty sure it was a factory turbo. I know a limited number were made. Saw one at a car show a few years back, man was it sweet. And you said a tt v8 was overkill.
