Late Offset Fuchs

Hi Folks. Wanted to share my 951 on Late offset Fuchs. They are Replicas 7x17 front and 9x17 rears. They are Aluminum and are pretty light. I did not actually weigh them. But can be lifted pretty easy with 1 hand.
ET55 front and rear. I purchased them via Design911 out of the UK. reasonable priced with shipping. They come with plain black center caps. I modified some factory Fuchs centers to fit. You can run the Plastic center caps from more modern Porsche wheels.

Pictures with the Plain black centers that come with the Wheels.

Thank you. I prefer the silver break up for the centers. I have seen some with black centers and Porsche emblems.

Looks nice man! I do like that smooth rear bumper look. I am planning on doing that with my 924 front and rears.

Just get a European bumper and remove the trim. I did that to my 924S and 944S.

The early Fuchs and flush bumpers look great, but there are ways to link your pictures, rather than posting them up in other's threads. And I'm not sure what's going on with the flagger in your first shot, Byron?!?

On topic, the late offset and 17" sizing really change the overall Fuchs "look"... that said, it looks great! Feels like a more modern vibe, which works best on a car as clean (and low) as yours. Beautiful 951!

LOL, I was going to ask the same question on the flagger. Pretty funny.

I do appreciate that man. I have own this car for nearly 16 years and has been a lot of fun. Was super happy to find a nice set of late offset Fuchs that did not cost the same of the car when I purchased her. design911 has them on sale right now.

Have checked out the Design911 website...and cannot find these in the ET 52 offset as needed for my '87NA. Would the ET-55's be "close enough?"

Well, I for one hate having to click to see something that can easily be posted. It aggravates the hell out of my when someone posts something for sale, and instead of posting the information and pictures, give a link to click on. If you are trying to compare a look( in this case, the 83 944 I bought in 86 or 87) I would prefer to see what someone is talking about instead of click, click BS. And since those pictures are in different places, it would require multiple links. As to the flagger, I started doing PCA, SCCA and other groups autocrosses and drivers Ed's in the 80s, that is why there is a flagger. If someone wants to see how a factory European bumper looks compared to, say an AIR or factory or factory modified, again, much easier to look and compare at straight pictures verses clicking multiple links. I'm sorry if showing pictures of a 944 that came with Fuchs on a thread of a 951 that didn't come with Fuchs, and some not knowing that Fuchs had actually been an option offends some, and those who know me, know how much I love my Fuchs and also know that it is very rare for me to offer up a set (which I didn't and had no intention of doing).

Its all good Byron. I do not mind the Pictures. The flagger question was simply from how they are dressed. Do really like the Fuchs and was super happy to finally get some in Late offset that did not cost a fortune.
