Mitchel Manuals

Any one used the Mitchel CD's?

I'm wondering if they are worth the trouble to install.

When was the last time you changed your timing and balance belts and/or cam chain and tensioner?

I used them at my school's auto class. It's pretty simple to use and from what I can tell, it gives great information. I mainly used it for checking specs like rotor thickness, spark plug gaps, and the such and had no problem finding the info using it.

there's various cds for different makes. if you have the complete collection (I think about 10+ cds), I'm sure you'll be able to look up every (well, except maybe a 959 or something exotic like that) year, make, and model of cars. You've gotta swap cds when you specify the make of the car, so just based on the size of information I'm assuming they have just as much information as the technical service manuals if not more.

The two CDR's I have are supposedly for the 911 and 944 models including the variants. I'll let you know in a few hours after I get them up and running. There are two floppies that are used for the install. Hope my floppy drive works as I haven't used it in some six maybe ten months.
