924/944 rear seat question

Guys
Restoring rear seat which has the push button unlock (R&L)
The black cup shape is broken…want to replace….i have unscrewed the button and removed the rubber spacer but seems the plastic funnel shape is glued in place ?
Not sure ..perhaps its a one time use ? Does spin but not coming out ?
Let me know how to remove
Thanks
Frank

I did review parts diagram…..
Look at the picture and you will see small extended clips at end of the housing…
Look like must squeeze to get by the shaft….getting to the end means pulling back upholstery

Does not just pull out from top

It does look like a latching split-barrel at the bottom of the "rose" or bezel is locking it in place. I agree that in order to remove it without damage you *should* press the two haves together to ease it out, which requires access from inside the seat. However you may be able to gently tease it out from above - try rotating it to a different position and then applying upward pressure with a rocking motion. It's a 10$ part to replace and available. Reminds me of all the Honda/Acura clips I have to deal with that are similarly locked into place.
