Last Pics of 944 Before Auction Time

I priced her for $2,850 and I got no response. (if anyone is still interested step forward)

1985.5 944 N/A with 88,000 miles.

Tomorrow she will go to the dealer auction. Here are her last pics. (press refresh after the page loads)

Pelican was the second site I started frequenting. If anyone from the Excite 944 World days is still around then you know how it is being with one car for so long. I'll miss the car alot.

Is that a 600 series BMW????

Bob - you need to hit the refresh button in browser when the "access forbidden" page is up.

Its def. not an M5. I'm guessing a 525 or 535. Either way, sweet car. I test drove a few E34 5-series cars before I found my 944. Probably would have bought one also, if I had any common sense.

Oh, and Shaun, bummer about having to sell your 944. You'll still hang around this board, right?

Wow if you live in Hawaii, I know a friend would pick it up at that price.

Rice! Rice! Baby!!!

Take the stupid wing off and you might get a little more for the car.

How come people here are all over that wing??

Jheeseeh - if the buyer doesn't like it, it can be removed and replaced. I can't see someone driving by and saying, "Ohhhhh - look a 944 for sale....no, wait - it has that wing....keep driving!!".

Ain't no Rice on SHAUN'S car.

Technically the "rice wing" is in the air flow while the stock one isn't.

Might as well take the stock ones off.

The 968 wing is a better attempt at a functional spoiler.

Adding a trip spoiler, turbulators like on business jet wings, just in front of the hatch is a workable add on. Trips the air to stay on the surface of the hatch and thus helps the stock spoiler work.

My advice to you would be not to buy the car...
