944 power steering problem
 

1986 944 TURBO
Power steering works fine turning to the right but does not work turning to the left.
(rules out NASCAR events)
I drained the PS fluid from the rack and re-filled - no change.

That's probably the rack itself then. My car's rack worked but it would screech a lot when I turned quickly under low rpm (like backing out of a parking space or pull into one)
