your last post was 'engine trouble' and several suggestions were made

we don't know what you did except to buy a battery which by the way NO ONE suggested you should do

still the same problem?...you turn the key and the starter motor does nothing?

did you.."take ALL your + and - battery connections (including the starter) apart, clean the corrosion, use di-electric grease...yadda, yadda...same ol' drill !" as suggested?

it is usually is a bad connection..so all the wires/connections need to be clean and bright...then use di-electric tune-up grease from an auto parts store to keep the problem from coming back

it could be your starter motor (the solenoid switch part) but I would clean all the connections first including the starter motor wires (disconnect battery while you do this)

and next time tell us you have an ‘87 924S…it helps us make appropriate suggestions

for examaple…try: 924.org garage

and check:

http://www.924.org/techsection/12body.htm#2

to test and / or replace the Ignition Key Switch...this might also be your problem

Is it possible to pop start it? If you cant pop it then maybe theres a bigger problem.

Anyways check the starter and the solenoid and youll probably find your problem...I had problems with my car not starting a while back ...it was because of the solenoid.
