history
Hi all.
Heres the question. My '78 924 carrera GT -Replica is of intresting history from what i could find out. I haved tried to find out the full history based on the VIN. Apperently they where shipped in to the east coast then trucked to arizona i believe for documentation (apparently). From there they were further trucked to their appropriate dealers around the country. If i remember correctly (its been a few months)my car was then sold from Texas and then went back arizona. Yet it was serviced at a dealership in the mid-west. At somepoint it arrived in Quebec Canada and registerd there. From there it landed in Ontario Canada. I contacted Porsche USA and they told me they have the history on the car but could not release it to me. Why is beyond me. Can anyone assist in this matter. Its not going to change anything but i would just like to know. Porsche did inform that it was originally painted Z4 Diamond Silver Met. Thanks ![]() |

gimme your vin, i can get it for you.
the reason they can't give it to you is because they want to make sure YOU are who YOU say YOU are, and that YOU are the current owner of the car... and you're not plotting to kill the previous owner once they give you all the info on the car. post it and i'll see what i can dig up, i have a lot of friends at the dealerships. obin |
