Need some help!
 

I just bought and early 85 944, and I have problems with two things.
First, the sunroof only lifts half way up and when it comes down it unlocks completely, I am able to take out the sunroof off. What should I do? Second, my cruise control does not function, What can I do to repair it or where should I start looking for. Any advice from you guys will be very helpful. Thank you.

Sorry I don't have any pictures to help you. But first off the sunroof doesn't go very high to begin with and secondly it is supposed to come completely off. So don't worry about that. About the cruise control, it's brain is located (in late models, dunno about early) in the back on the left side. There is a cable which connects it and if that cable comes off then the cruise will stop working. So check that out. So just look on the left side under the hood and make sure the cable is connected.
